ALFO to join FringeNYC

Broken Bat Productions will present the comedy How Alfo Learned to Love Women as part of the 14th annual New York International Fringe Festival, August 13-29, 2010. Written and produced by playwright Vincent Amelio, the play is directed by theater veteran Kathleen Bishop.

Alfo Idello has an addiction to women. Will talking with a leggy psychiatrist and killing off his imaginary dream girl help Alfo to commit instead of playing the field? Does his obsession stem from growing up in his family's estrogen-fueled Italian bakery? Revisiting that wacky world of wedding cakes and women just might help him give up the sugar.
